CERT Professional Development Resources

The National CERT Association (NCA), in partnership with FEMA, is proud to announce CERT Professional Development Resources (CERT PDR). CERT PDR is designed to be a catalogue of CERT related supplemental training and resources. CERT PDR is not intended to replace official FEMA/State CERT training or guidance. New resources created for CERT PDR include a supplemental webinar training series for the CERT Train-the-Trainer and CERT Program Manager courses. CERT programs can submit existing resources for inclusion into CERT PDR and vetted for nationwide sharing.

Catalogue of Existing CERT Resources

The NCA is working with FEMA, State, and Territory CERT Coordinators to collect a variety of resources that have been developed throughout the US and will vet them for sharing on CERT PDR. All FEMA, State, and Territory CERT Coordinators will have access to all CERT PDR resources to share within their CERT network. NCA members will also have access to CERT PDR resources based on their roles.

New CERT Resources
The NCA is working on a series of new resources for CERT PDR including:
  • A supplemental training webinar series for the CERT Program Manager Course
  • A supplemental training webinar series for the CERT Train-the-Trainer Course
  • A Nationwide rollout of the Hybrid CERT Training, developed in the State of Utah
