2023 National CERT Conference Overview

Conference Overview

Dear Colleague,

The National CERT Association (NCA) is excited to announce the 2023 National CERT Conference will be held in California.  This year, the NCA is partnering with the California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES), Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Fire Services Training Institute (FSTI), and Bay Area Urban Areas Securities Initiative (UASI).  Partnering with these great organizations will allow us to provide enhanced training opportunities for conference attendees.

The 2023 National CERT Conference theme is CERT 360°, highlighting CERT as a flexible and inclusive community resource for all.  The conference will feature training and presentations for all levels of CERT including Emergency Managers, Program Managers, Instructors, Volunteers, and CERT Partners.

Held at the Hyatt Regency SFO hotel near San Francisco, California,  conference dates start on Monday, June 26th through Wednesday, June 28th with Pre-Conference training where attendees can select from over 35 unique training opportunities.  The Main Conference continues Thursday, June 29th through Saturday, July 1st when attendees will hear from subject matter experts discussing current topics affecting CERT as well as introducing new ideas for building more inclusivity into their teams.   For the first time at a National CERT Association conference, attendees can test their skills as a team during the National CERT Skills Competition.

This year’s conference will provide new experiences, important training, and exciting opportunities for attendees.  We expect to host over 900 attendees from more than 40 states and territories.  Don’t miss your chance to sign up today.  We look forward to seeing everyone in San Francisco!
